Swallows, page 3... Top photo is of a Barn Swallow with its long, forked tail. It had just scooped
an insect in midair. It would take many, many more before the busy bird would return to the nest.
Of the different species, it seems the Tree Swallow, bottom right, has the wildest color signal
gape...(Food, food, food..! Me, me, me..!) With the Rough-winged, at its left, a close second.
