When it’s all about food, it is all about seeds for Buntings. Seeds of FL native Spanish needle flowers
seem to be of particular interest to the colorful species. They go about extracting them from
the nucleus of withered buds with savvy and care. Here the plants grow along a thicket
of bushes, ideal for these birds to fall back into and hide during their seasonal visit...
