Yes, birders sometimes get rewarded, some times, when everything falls into place. Off and on, I had been observing food deliveries to the Iona eagle’s nest without being able to detect a pattern of time or direction. Another confirmation of the fact that nesting birds rarely go by a schedule. Deliveries happen whenever there is something to deliver. A fine lens, steady hand, patience and luck came together to get the shot. |
