Wolf Weber

The BirdClix web site was launched by Wolf Weber in 2000 as a means to have Birders and the

Birding Community participate in his photographic adventures and observations of birds

& waterfowl.
Essentially an effort to be in touch with and record what's left of the Natural World.

No advertising nor subscription fees and no obligation to buy anything. Any purchase of gallery

prints is appreciated and considered helpful. The currently offered Selection of the Month

fine art print is a computer enhanced adaptation of an original photograph - "Lean on Me"...

Essentially Wolf became interested in birds as a sailor during his youth... "Whenever we'd see birds

we knew that shore couldn't be too far. In our minds we' d go with them. Later I had the extraordinary

chance to be able to enjoy the sounds of Nightingales while living in the South of France. How many

nights we fell silent by an open window and listened. We'd just sit back and be absorbed.
I hardly ever

got to see one of these enchanting birds and it never occurred to me to try and get a picture."

The current cover story is about Harlequin Ducks and various other birds, waterfowl

and wildlife around Rhode Island's Sachuest Point, updates from Nov. 2008...

The previous cover was about Green Herons, rather solitary wading birds.

Swan Song is an instructive yet sad "song" of a swan's long struggle
to survive with a broken wing.

Still recent are Brown Pelicans (4 pages), all photographed in Florida,

and American White Pelicans (5 pages) in California, Florida and Missouri.

Under Various Birds and Waterfowl one can find a variety of photographic exploits with frequent additions.

The Bunche Beach San Carlos Bay report was updated after a re-visit during Nov. of 2007.
